What We Rent
Orders run from a single line at a reception desk to several hundred posts across a convention floor. In a hurry, the seven items most orders are built from sit on one short page. Or take the full product list in one scroll.
- Stanchions: the posts themselves. Belt stanchions carry 8 ft of retracting webbing and suit a queue that changes shape during the day; rope stanchions stand 89 cm with 5 ft of velvet between them and read as deliberate at an arrival.
- Spans on their own: velvet ropes in sixteen colours and retractable belts plain, caution or printed — for venues that already own posts.
- Routes and perimeters: carpet runners 6 ft wide as standard in 10, 15 and 25 ft lengths, plus crowd control barriers in galvanised steel at 3.6 by 6.9 ft a section.
- The rest: a topper sign saves a member of staff standing there explaining the queue, trolleys and storage carts matter once an order crosses a building. Anything else is under accessories or other event rentals.
One event has a page of its own because the same questions come up every year: exhibitors at the Vancouver International Auto Show are protecting vehicles rather than shaping a queue, which changes what to order.
Not Sure Which One
Belt posts for a moving queue, rope posts for a fixed route people look at, barriers for a perimeter outdoors. An event with all three is normal.
Four guides under news cover the questions that come before an order. Buying rather than renting is on buy stanchions in Vancouver. What moves a quote is on pricing.
Where We Deliver
Vancouver and across British Columbia. How far the equipment has to travel changes the lead time more than it changes anything else, so the list below is grouped by the journey rather than by the alphabet.
Metro Vancouver. Same-day changes are usually still possible. Vancouver · Burnaby · Richmond · New Westminster · North Vancouver · West Vancouver · Coquitlam · Port Moody · Surrey · Langley · Maple Ridge · White Rock
Fraser Valley. A half-day round trip, so the order travels in one load. Mission · Abbotsford · Chilliwack
Vancouver Island. A sailing has to be planned around, so ask early. Victoria · Nanaimo · Courtenay · Campbell River
Interior and Okanagan. A long drive over the mountains — longer still in winter. Kamloops · Kelowna · Vernon · Penticton
Northern BC. The longest haul we run; notice measured in weeks. Prince George
