Trolleys and Storage Carts
A wheeled frame that carries a set of posts in one trip. Anyone who has moved forty stanchions by hand already knows why it is on the order.
- Horizontal: posts lie flat. It goes under a stage deck, through a low service door and into a shallow goods lift. Longer, so it needs a clear run to turn.
- Vertical: posts stand upright, taking about the floor area of one post. Faster to work from, since posts come off at standing height — but it needs the headroom the horizontal one does not.
Which One
Measure the route rather than the store cupboard. The lift, the door header and the tightest corner between the loading bay and the floor decide this. All three are worth checking before the order rather than on the morning.
