Buy Stanchions in Vancouver

Rope posts, belt posts and sign holders can be bought outright as well as hired. Most enquiries here come from somewhere that has worked out it is renting the same thing every month.

When Buying Is the Right Call

The arithmetic is simple and it is about frequency, not quantity. A hotel that sets the same twelve posts out every Friday, a gallery that opens a new show monthly, a building lobby that reconfigures for events — these own their posts within a year. A production company doing four large events a season does not, because every one of them is a different size.

The second question is storage. Posts are heavy, awkward and take floor space nobody costed. If there is nowhere for them to live between uses, buying moves the problem rather than solving it — and a storage cart is part of the purchase, not an afterthought.

Worth Asking Before You Commit

Which parts wear first — and whether they can be replaced on their own. On a belt post it is the belt; on a rope post it is the rope and, eventually, the finish on the head. Both are replaceable here without buying the post again — see accessories.

Whether the finish will still be available later. Buying twelve black posts now and eight more in two years only works if the eight match. A mixed line looks like a shortage. Say the intended final quantity when you first ask, even if you are only ordering half of it.

Try It Before You Own It

The cheapest way to choose between a rope post and a belt post is to hire both for one event and watch which one your own staff reach for. That decision is much harder to reverse once the invoice is paid.
