#1 Source for Stanchions & Event Rentals

Crowd Control Barrier Sizes and Heights

Interlocking galvanised steel panels that stand on their own feet. Where a stanchion suggests a boundary, a barrier holds one — it takes weight leaned against it, it stays put in wind and it does not care whether the ground is carpet or asphalt.

Two Sizes

The standard panel is 3.6 ft by 6.9 ft. The tall panel is4 ft by 6.7 ft — a little higher, a little shorter, which matters when a run has to end cleanly against a wall or a stage edge.

Height is the decision. Standard reads as an organised perimeter and people can see over it, which is what you want around a stage front or a media zone. Tall is the one to take when the point is that nobody steps across — or when a crowd may press against it rather than queue beside it.

Where They Beat a Stanchion

Outdoors, in weather, over long runs and anywhere the line is holding people back rather than guiding them along. A rope or a belt is a visual instruction; a barrier is a physical one. If the run is indoors on a finished floor and the job is to shape a queue politely, use stanchions instead — they set up faster and mark the floor less.

Where Ours Have Been

Product launches, conferences and AGMs, awards nights, VIP and carpet areas, trade show stands, film shoots and street festivals. Panels can be dressed with printed covers so the perimeter carries the event’s own branding rather than bare steel.

Delivery Across British Columbia

Barriers travel to Vancouver, Victoria, Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, Kelowna, Whistler and beyond. How a run is quoted, what happens on delivery day and how to work out the metre count are on the barrier rental page. Delivery, placement and collection are available and quoted with the order — a long run of steel is not something most clients want to move twice. Self-pickup from downtown Vancouver is possible for smaller quantities, arranged in advance.

Our Barricades on Site

  • Barriers dressed in printed covers closing off a street at an outdoor event
  • Steel barrier panels stacked beside a truck before being set out

Send the date, the venue and how many metres of perimeter you need. A quote comes back with availability against it, usually within a few hours.
