Belt Stanchions
Two finishes, one post. Both weigh the same, both pay out the same belt and both clip to each other, so the decision is entirely about the floor they stand on.
Black is the working choice. It reads as equipment, hides a season of handling and vanishes against dark carpet — take it wherever the queue is the point and the posts are not. Silver is for a bright room with hard flooring, glass and chrome already in it, where a black post would look like something left behind by a contractor.
Mixing the two along one run looks like a shortage rather than a decision, so order a single finish for each continuous line even if the venue has several. Belts themselves are separate — plain, warning or printed — and are on the belt page.
