A runner laid down the route people walk in on. Six feet wide as standard, with a polyester pile on a woven backing and a merrowed edge that will not fray where it is trodden.

Three lengths sit ready cut at 10 ft, 15 ft and 25 ft. Need another size, in length or in width? Say so on the enquiry and it is made to order. Order by the walk rather than the room — the figure is the distance from where cars stop to where the doors open. It tapes down and lifts without marking the floor. At 10 mm thick the edge is the thing to plan for.
